- Subject: [NAFEX] Angel Wing Apple
- Date: Wed, 12 Mar 2003 17:29:44 -0600
Another person who lives at our community here asked me if I could find out any info for him. His grandfather supposedly developed & released an apple variety in the 1950s called Angel Wing. The man's name was Ray Temple & he grew potatoes & apples in Hill City MN from the early 50s to the early 70s when he died. Does anyone know anything about this particular apple, characteristics, is it still available, anyone growing it, etc?
