Hi,

I get a kick out of these "organic" alternatives.

What the heck is going to happen to soil PH when it is doused with enough acid to kill grass and
broad leafs in 24 hours?

A chemical is a chemical whether it occurs naturally or is manmade. There are benefits and risks
to using all of them.

Yup. Proper organic management isn't a matter of just substituting something claiming to be "natural" every time you would otherwise use a synthetic; it's a system that among other things aims to reduce the use of all such inputs, using certain biologicals, botanicals, and other naturally occuring pesticides as a last resort, and not in cases where they are likely to cause more problems than they appear to solve.

Anyone interested in enjoying a nice cup of all natural, organic arsenic?

Forbidden for use in organic production for many years now; along with a number of other highly toxic naturally occuring substances.

Do not be duped, or allow people to play some sort of "organic" trump card on you. Educate
yourself and make informed decisions. This is not a black and white area.

Definitely agreed. Also, be careful; the word "natural" on the label is effectively meaningless; and not everything that squeezed by the Federal standards and is still legally using the word "organic" is a great idea.
