Does anyone else have a variety that for some reason they can't get started?Chris, I tried for about 3 years in a row to get a take of 'Chestnut' crab - grafted it onto combo M9/M111, M111, M.baccata, and seedling apples - no go. Del Stubbs sent me some Chestnut wood in 2001, and I did two bark grafts onto some M7 rootstocks I'd been given. Took like a charm, and grew well.
