Hi,

I believe that "pippin" is the name of varieties commonly grown from seed.

The difference between antique and heirloom is subjective, with heirloom
always being of less age than antique. Now if you were talking "roses"...

Heritage roses are roses that originated in the mid 19^th century or
earlier. Antique roses are those that originated prior to 1860. I
believe that heirloom and heritage are interchangeable.
