Tom,
You have my sympathy. I, too, have a hard-headed dog who digs up herbs,
flowers, trees and tomatoes, to mention a few of her favorites. I use
chicken wire, wire fencing and wire hoops to protect the latest targets of
Miss Brandy. In early spring, when plants are just emerging or are small,
my yard looks like a prison farm--it's wired everywhere. This is the only
thing that has worked for me. I tried to give away the dog at one point,
but my husband said he would go with the dog. So, I use wire to save my
marriage and plants.
