Figure dirt at 100 lb per cubic foot and wood at 60 lb per cu ft.
The volume of a sphere is (1.33 x pie x radius cubed) so a half
sphere (bowl shape) root ball would be half of the formula or (0.67 x
3.14 x radius x radius x radius) with the radius in feet. and that
times 100 pounds would be a good guess of the weight!
