I would add to the above that it is important to stay positive, and to
surround yourself with positive people. A mentor is good; a grumpy one,
not so much.

I am just starting to farm (growing vegetables for market) this year.
Between the day job (gotta pay the bills!), the farm and raising a
family, staying focused and motivated is the main challenge.
