We plant them by the tray, 10"x12" if I recall correctly. They are recycled fish delivery trays that we get from the chefs we sell to. We grow them for shoots only and give the buyer the entire tray for 13.00. Harvested the bag may be a little shy of 3/4 of a pound. Like Zachary we harvest around 6 to 8" tall. This year (when we move into winter) we are wanting to try to move to a 100% soilless medium and I am curious if anyone here has done that, how you do it, and the results. Cheers!
