I'm flabbergasted.
I don't remember just how long it took them to get me a diagnosis here; but it was a whole lot less than that -- the agent would come out and look at the field, and give me some idea immediately; then take samples back and, if I remember correctly, get back to me within a couple of days. It might have been a bit longer than that but it certainly wasn't three weeks.
Admittedly, extension offices vary a good bit.
