I just learned I had to put a longer message on seperate page.

Wow yall thank you so much for all the info on bt corn,I printed the last page for my reference file,  you all have managed to keep me on the strait and narrow, I was looking for a quick fix for my earworm problem, and youve convinced me that gmo is not the answer.
Bill your info was so precise, thank you so much. The earworm is a moth caterpillar, and Im better off testing for then trapping the moth, Im a trapper for furry critters, I reckon trapping a bug should make sense. Tommorrow I will get hold of my county extension agent and learn what I can about that, and get a list of the tools I need.

I live in Southwest Indiana Z 6a Greene County, west of Bloomington Indiana. From what you all have said I guess Im at the northern range of that pesky bug, and storms dump more of them. I have noted the cyclical cycle, some years I dont have any, others moderate, then theres the whole crop destroyed, which happened in 08, total crop infestation, guess Im still sore about that. I will keep close tabs on numbers this year to determine if my 5 acres of corn is making money. Ill grow an Se variety this year to.
with deepest gratitude
josh
