Alan, Are biodynamic peppers the same as what I've read in Maria Thun's book
about the ash process? I was thinking of trying the egg carton process on
the aphids attacking my hoophouse lettuce crop. Not to mention the coyote
hide we got!
Thanks,
Marcy

I have found biodynamic peppers to be effective with the harlequins,
but the peppers only affect the winged adults, who seem to simply fly
away the when peppers are applied. If you do not pepper frequently, a
new 'generation' of adults will appear in a few days and you will be
back where you started ('appearing' from the until recently wingless
nymphs, that is.)
