I'm looking for ideas to improve my labor reporting. I'd like to begin using timesheets for my p/t employees which capture job data in addition to time and are easy to fill out. Ideally, the sheet would lend itself to easy keying into a spreadsheet or simple database for eventual cost tracking by activity - cultivation, planting, greenhouse, pack shed, harvest, etc.. or by person. My current method just notes start time, end time and amount time taken for lunch with handwritten notes on what the person worked on. I have 3-4 part-time people through the season which makes it difficult to justify an automated or commercial package.
Any suggestions?
Andy
