Sustainable models don't fit into our present non sustainable economic system.
Its a round peg square hole kind of thing. When you talk of off farm jobs you
need to ask the question is the job supporting the farm. Most farms are not
labor intensive and most farms even the largest are mostly part time and
seasonal operations. Most family farms have more hands then they need and
most
farms today are in or close to urban areas with plenty of off farm job
opportunities... Bob.
