Hello to all on the list....
I am well aware that the vast majority of readers on the list are opposed
to GMO's and I'm not attempting to argue the pro's and con's. But, after
visiting China where there is no legal system to protect those who invent
(patents), those who create (copyrights), or develop trademarks/names, I
have a greater appreciation for our own (US) legal system. Yes, it protects
the Monsantos, but it will also protect you and I when we invest our
energy, talent and financial resources in whatever we might choose to seek
protection on. Now that the Chinese are bottling "Napa Valley" wines, and
"Great Lakes" fruit juices some of us are looking at things a little
differently.

I also find it curious that some topics, like GMO's, are freely lambasted
on this list since it's supposed to be "non-political". Not too long ago,
as a newby who didn't know any better, I was soundly chastised for being
"too political" in my posting. That said, I do enjoy reading most of the
postings and have found some of them of value for our own operation.
