We bought worm compost this winter and spring from a couple of these "worm
farms" and I can't say enough good about it. I used it in the seed starting
mix and later on spread it on the beds prior to planting. I rejuvenated our
hoophouse with the compost and I have cucumber plants in there that look
like a jungle.
So if you can find a local source for the compost (or residue) from the
defunct worm farms, snatch it up - its wonderful!
