I put galvanized field fence 5' high, with 3-4'
1/2" chicken wire around the bottom, and 5 strands of steel 14 ga Gallagher M800
electric fence. Keeps out coyotes, bunnies, rabbits, cats, dogs, coyotes,
calves, sheep, chickens, horses, and anything else that doesn't want to be bit
by that electric that knocked me on my backside just yesterday. Ouch! Even
the hogs won't test it more than once.
I don't know what the garden cost was because it's
just one part of a 40 acre containment project on my 160 acres.
