Iron is the largest source of clogging in drip, there are two types of iron
clogging one is just free iron in water the other is bacteria feeding on the
iron creating a slime "ochre" in the tubing. First test your water to find
the ppm of iron. Chlorine injection is the only way to prevent both clogs you
inject 1 ppm of chlorine for each ppm of iron or 2-5 ppm for each ppm of
bacteria...Bob.
