And, now we can trust the "gummint"? While I have to agree that there are
serious, honest researchers out there, the abuses cause those of us in the
trenches to not trust any of them much. If my land grant university
publishes something as "truth", my first instinct is to not believe it -
unless I have tested it myself. I have sat in too many "classes" for
farmers, heard them spout "truth" that I knew was wrong. Sorry, most of
them will have to re-gain our trust and I don't see that happening in
today's world of the dollar being most important. Yes, good research is
happening, but how can we tell the difference ? And an awful lot of it has
a "agenda". (Yes, so do I :) )
