#1) I just bought some #9 gauge wire to make hoops, and discovered that I can't cut it. I have wire snips but they are not strong enough. Does anyone know how to cut the wire??
Do you need some kind of gadget??
We added 2 - 3 foot lengths of pipe onto our wire cutters (just put them over the handles of the wire cutters) to give us extra leverage. We needed some very sturdy 12 inch staples this year so we cut them out of #10 fencing wire one person cutting the other feeding the wire through. We cut 500 wire pieces in no time, and nobody got worn out.
#2) Also, does anyone have any advice about how to cut rebar into pieces to use in PVC pipe for hoops?
No advice there other than to go to the local hardware store, you per cut.
Jacqueline
