# 9 Wire--Any set of big wire cutting pliers will cut it. Already mentioned
are bolt cutters and fencing tool(I always called them fencing
pliers)---Also can use a good set of 8" slip joint pliers, a big set of side
cutter pliers--I have a good little bitty set of wire strippers, aboutfour
inches long that cuts it. I don't know what kind of wire you have, there is
galvanized (used for fence braces around here) and regular (used for
everything else.) Galvanized is the easiest to find anymore. Galvanized
cuts really hard and bend hard too. If your using galvanized #9 then bolt
cutters or fencing pliers may be the best. I cut a heck of a lot of #9 and
always use the slip joint pliers on my belt. Don't use the cheap pliers
found in chain stores though. Buy Crescent, John Deere, Klien, Diamond.
Not Cee Tee, Popular Mechanics, Generic. I see this is becoming a
disertation on pliers. They are the badge of a farmer here in Iowa. So I
suppose this is appropriate.

Cutting rebar. I use a acetelyne torch. Could use a bandsaw, hand held
hacksaw, big bolt cutters, chop saw, or the already mentioned angle grinder.

happy cutting
