I have a 5 horse BCS that I bought in 1997. I till about 1/2 acre with
it, and use it frequently during the season between beds, etc. Also have
a sickle bar mower and a hiller-furrower. I've had few problems with it,
it's been totally reliable, and it's a real workhorse. It tilled a field
of hard-baked late summer clay when a 22 horse Kubota tractor wouldn't.
I'm about to buy a new 27 horse Kubota, but the BCS will still be used
for narrow-access areas and mowing. Good Luck- Peter
