Jerry,
We have a Troy-bilt tiller - the 8 horse power. We bought it when we
moved here 9 years ago, and it is still going strong. This year I am
putting new tines on it as the others have worn to be very short. I am also
putting a reverse disk on it, as the old reverse disk wore down a few years
ago. But it gets used every spring, and I feel it is a good machine.
Troy-bilt is also very available for questions, parts, etc. Ours is a walk
behind - and I have used the furrower for making raised beds. Although I
have ordered a broad fork to replace some of the tilling, there will be
plenty of garden that still needs the Troy-bilt.
