I disagree with your "no commercialism" statement. From all the recent posts
about how people strive to "look like a real farmer", I'd say commercialism
is alive & well in Market Farming.

Also, as a full time farmer, I get a laugh out of all of those "we have to
save the family farm" posts when most of my competition comes from "weekend
farmers" who hold high $, non-farm jobs that subsidize their "farming".

And yes, I have to focus on price. I have to sell at a profit- this is a
business, not a hobby, for me.
