Title: Re: freezing
Liz,
I don't know about anyone else, but in our (King) county in Washington, freezing constitutes a "processed food" and must be done in a certified kitchen, with a health department license.

I'm just reading the study referred by Don. ( http://aesop.rutgers.edu/htbin/frumkt.com)

"One can take advantage of this situation by freezing unsold berries, and selling
them in various quantities at a later date."
Do any of you freeze your excess whatever & sell it later??  Would this be regulated by health departments??  (Ready-to-eat versus prepare it yourself & assume responsibility)?
