Great topic. Although we're new and our methods will undoubtely evolve,
we're using...

Rototilling - BCS 14hp. We've used a TroyBilt "horse" for years and we find
the BCS is far superior.

Wheel cultivator - large wheel in the front, various cultivating attachments
for the back.

Earthway seeder which spaces certain things well, but other things badly.

We use rows for certain crops, raised beds for others. The furrowing
attachment on the BCS forms the raised beds.

Watering will be done by a rainwater collection system, a "walking" water
tank, and by hand. I'll start a small patch of drip irrigation.

Everything else by hand, by mulch, by cover cropping, by black cloth.

When I grow up, I'd very much like to have a tractor with a rototilling
attachment, and a bed shaper.
