What tillage methods and equipment do you all use:

tractor
rototiller
mule
hand tools
tractor + hand tools
rototiller + hand tools

How many primarily use hand tools? Raised beds, rows
of varying width?

I have plowing and cultivating done by a neighbor
but all the rest is done by me with hand tools
to dig and shape raised beds of varying lengths.
Using the edge principle in permaculture would allow
for the building of beds within mandalas. Some
interesting possibilities there for companion and inter-cropping
and recycling of nutrients between beds.
