Then we can certainly count on diluted flavor from all our vegetable this year--that is if anything manages to produce much.  Our gardens look like swampland.  The rains have made up in spades for 2 months for 3 years of drought around here.  All our plants are stunted and yellowish and a field where I want to plant field corn won't dry out enough to let me disc under the oats and grass growing there for green manure.  I have my rams grazing it to keep it under control, just waiting for a couple of dry days.  But it's rained every day for two weeks--not just light sprinkles either, but real toad chokers.

Too much water will dilute the flavour of all fruit and veg.
