It took a few days to give your very thoughtful
reply the appropriate attention. I've ordered the Victory Garden
book. The other, Nourishing Traditions, appears a bit
more controversial. While I do not intend to become a vegetarian unless
forced to, my main study effort is to determine how to optimize nutrition from
our home garden.
In your opinion, is Nourishing Traditions
worth acquiring and studying? At 688 pages, it's not
trivial. I'm astounded that, although published in 1999, it's
Amazon's #272 best-selling book. Also, there are no cheap, used books
available, which is another way I judge how much people like it.
