The Permaculture Design Certificate course is supposed to follow Mollison's book (Permaculture: A Designers Handbook). I read the book several times before spending two weeks on a course with Mollison himself. I needed to have read the book to get the full value of the course (he went off on generous tangents). But I did not need the course to get the full value of the book. Pricey book, but worth every penny.

I would respectfully suggest that this question would be irrelevant if the courses stuck to Mollison's original vision.

i was wondering what a decent set of readings would be
that would you know, approximate the learning you'd
get in one of those certificate courses?
by the way the Jeavon's book "How to Grow More..." has
just arrived and i'm reading my way thru that one...
looking on Bookfinder i discovered that this one
author Ben Law seems to have "written the book"
(actually, many books) on permaculture.
anyone else have any titles, suggestions?
