Hello All,
I am a bit perplexed regarding the term "foxy". I have
heard it desribed as "kerosene" like, but I never find that
flavor in wine I make.
Now, I have only used "organic" bottled Concord juice so
far, as my vines are not ready to produce fruit yet. The
wine produced has no foxiness that I am aware of.
Does a mild amount of heat processing of the juice inhibit
foxiness?
Anyone care to discuss?
Later,
Tom
