melted the wires and jumped out to hit him and knock him across the room.
Needless to say it took every piece of computer equipment with it despite
the gear he had to stop that.

But buy a good one with a good warranty and insurance policy...like the
monster stuff.

They've got some good articles there that explain just what you're trying
to do with lightning protection and suggestions of ways to do it.
