I thought all of Europe was on a single currency these days -- the cigarette.

Just pack his bags with cartons of different types of Marlboro's, maybe some Kool's and/or Virginia Slim's (Haven't you come so far, baby?) and also make sure to throw in some containers of Lady Copenhagen to use as tips in cabs and restaurants. He should be fine.

Hell, the stuff practically grows on trees around here.

Good luck!

My son is about to head off to the UK to tour with the NC Boys Choir. We're down to the wire -- he's leaving Sunday -- I have a couple of pressing needs.
First is there a good place to buy an international calling card here in the Triangle? Has anyone had experiences good or bad with such?
Second, I need pounds. If you have some to sell, drop me a note. If you have a good idea about getting some, drop me a note.
It's too late to get him a debt card or so it seems and I'm reluctant to hand a 12 year old a credit card. Other ideas?
Thanks in advance oh great group mind
