The ONLY valid reason for getting a Jetta (or any VW) is if you are so hard-up to run bio-diesel that you stay awake at night twitching thinking about all the gasoline wasted everyday. They have had mucho difficulty competing in the "middle market" between efficiencies and luxury. So, basically, everything looks nice when you buy it and you are fascinated right up until the 3rd or 4th headlamp you have to replace because VW crams all the cheapest parts they can find into their cars. In short, VW sucks (sorry, zman!).

Honda rules the world. Honda will kick your ass. Don't f*ck with Honda.

And if you're gonna buy a Civic, I would recommend spending the extra $$$ to get the Hybrid model (or consider the Toyota Prius Hybrid). All other cars suck.

Oh, and the whole bio-diesel thing is a sham for the most part. The amount of pollutants pushed outta their tailpipes should make those hippies hang their heads in shame.

This advice was free to you.

civic. i'm talking about the graphic with years along the top and the
red/black/half/open circles that indicate the vehicles reliability in
various areas. the graphic should be a little gif or jpg.
