Sorry for coming in late on this, but:

$ uptime
08:43:29 up 492 days, 15:16, 4 users, load average: 1.00, 1.00, 1.00

Yes, this box needs a kernel upgrade. No, it doesn't matter because
it's behind a very restrictive firewall and has no local users.

This box is running Fedora Core 1, upgraded "in-place" from Red Hat
Linux 9 (it's still running the RHL 9 kernel).
