Well I know a substantial number of people that are dutifully employed. I
was just visiting a company in RTP last week that has doubled their staff to
100 employees in 2 months. A company I do work for in CA has grown from 3
employees to 50 employees in 1 year and plans to hire another 50 over the
next 2 quarters.

Do your friends or my friends have anything to do with the Department of
Labor numbers? No.

Don't forget the jobs still moving offshore. The market has started to
turn around but I know a substantial number of people that are either
still unemployed or underemployed. I don't believe the hype.
