Interesting. I actually agree with his sentiments to a degree. I don't
think much of his methods of making his point however. A bill like this
is dangerous... He probably introduced it with moderately honorable
intentions (as honorable as possible for a politician in DC anyway),
but it could turn into a nightmare if it actually passed.

I'd almost be willing to be money that *somebody* in DC is looking
at this and saying "you know, we want everybody registered into
some kind of national database anyway... why not strip this down
to just requiring women to register for selective service (for the
time being) get it passed and sit on it?"

Hopefully you're correct in saying that nothing will come of it.
Nothing would surprise me these days, however.
