I've never downloaded music for free, so I probably don't know
what I am talking about. The music that is available is not what
we purchase for better or worse.
I estimate that we purchase about 20 CDs a year of classical,
early, irish, african, and other miscellaneous stuff. Also, I
have purchased a number of CDs at the used CD store on
Hillsborough Street in Raleigh.
My feeling is that a lot of people don't like the monopoly
of the music industry. They also want to hear the CD before
they plunk down an excessive amount for the disk. No matter
what, music can't be free unless you pull down the instruments
and make your own compositions.

I'm trying hard to understand why so many people seem so
determined to get music for free.
