I miss living in San Francisco when Kozmo was around, but Netflix isn't bad.
Honestly, I really _LOVE_ VisArt. It rocks my world.
Regards,
Tom

Don't you all adore Netflix?

It's perhaps my favorite service site. Your choice of DVDs, from the wildly popular to the obscure, sent to your mailbox for a set fee each month. I pay about $20 bucks a month to watch about 8 DVDs. They almost all are in excellent condition and all have been watchable. No more driving in the rain to Cameron Village, then having to stare gloomily at the leavings of other customers while the fluorescents suck the IQ from your brain.

Try finding a lot of gay and lesbian titles there.
There's a whole category on the main page for Gay and Lesbian titles. I don't know how extensive it is, but I did get "Hedwig" from them. Their Japanese film collection is rather shallow, except for anime, but it doesn't rate a top category listing either.
Try finding the 1990 Richard Harris movie "The Field" -
In stock now at Netflix.
Makes me long for a VisArt in Raleigh. Anyone know why they haven't jumped
over here yet? North American tries, but doesn't really cut it (although I
have been enjoying going through the AFI Top 100 from their selection at
the Mission Valley store...) [...]
Between Blockbuster and Netflix, it's hard to imagine being able to succeed with an independent rental outlet.
Cheers, Linda
