There was a related story about this on cnn.com recently. Apparently
there is software available with which video rental stores and others
can have videos and DVDs "sanitized," and the movie studios are not
happy about it.

Well, they censore the films. They are not complete. Missing scenes.
They change dialogs.

You gotta compare the movie "Striptease" from BlockBuster and the
original one.

One thing I don't get. They cut away a pair of boobs from any movie...
but they left all the gore details of people being killef and gutted.

A partial naked body is more harmful to adults than seeing in
excruciating detail someone eviscerating someone else?

Just my 2 cents.
