Not here, anymore.

Unfortunately, U.S. politics have been shifting radically towards socialism for much of the 20th century. Our basic rights have been eroded over time. Our freedom of speech is often not very free any more. Our freedom of press isn't very free when you consider we ranked pretty poorly in a recent study of international freedom of the press. Our right to keep and bear arms is under attack not only from politicians but also from the citizens who have long ago forgotten how we fought for and won our independence from a repressive government.

I love America, and obviously my forefathers did as I can place one of them in every major war for America starting with the Revolution and ending at WWII. My father didn't believe much in our need to be in Vietnam, and I didn't feel strongly that we belonged in Iraq (then or now). Yes, I love my country. And I mourn her loss every day.
