Frankly,
I would consider purchasing a new hard drive for $100 and
starting with a fresh machine. The advantage is that if you screw up
you can always go back.
Don't want to spend $100? Fdisk and reformat probably will do the
trick. Enjoy the adventure. Roger (in RTP)
