Aside from recomending going to Trilug's Geek'n'Cook'n'Install-Fest , I have
a
few things to say:

- Any Linux distribution is OK for someone that wants to use Linux
- Red Hat and Debian are awesome for Servers.
- Mandrake is specialy directed for Desktops.
- Red Hat and Mandrake both have and easy, point'n'click install and
configuration way
- If you know how to read, you can also install Debian :)

My personal preferences? Mandrake on Desktop, Red Hat on servers, Debian for
"learning Linux the inside out".

And use a boxed set with manuals 'cause nothing can compare to a book.

Salut,
Josep
