What do you mean, straight to summer? 80F *is* spring weather in these hyear
parts. And the density of the pollen is only exceeded by the density of the
air once summer truly hits...

The density of pollen out there is unbelievable!

This being my first spring/summer in the RTP and all, I was perplexed this
morning when I got to work only to find my black shoes covered in this
layer of yellow-green stuff...

It's bad enough that we skipped spring and went straight to summer....

<sigh>

Well, I'd rather be covered in pollen than snow I suppose!

;-)

P.S. In case you need closure on that nagging question "Who in the....Is
she the...ummm?"
the answer is....yes...yes..I'm the Canadian you met at the Flying Saucer.
Out of lurking mode, I am now live and interactive on the list.
Cheers!

oh, good! someone else who's enjoying this as much as i am.... i had
a lovely experience first thing this morning. as i was out running, a
car buzzed by at quite a clip, kicking up a huge cloud of yellow/green
dust, into which i disappeared from sight.... i thought i'd never find
my way out of it, let alone get any real air back into my lungs...
every time i breath out, a little puff of yellow/green dust comes
floating out... ;-) ahhhh, spring!
