Well free in the sense that you won't get a bill, but not free in the sense
that they will try and try to target more relevant advertising at you.

If you log into the email part of Gmail up in the right hand corner is
Settings. Go to Forwarding and POP and turn it on. All the rest is done in
Thunderbird.
