Right, so you mean it takes time.

This is the 4th year I've gardened here. The second year for half of
what is my garden now. I can see the difference in just one year, I
can imagine that in 10 years, if I keep it up, it will be very
different.

For me the important part is that I'm able to get a crop now and doing
things that will make things better in the future.
