No kidding. I'm on my 5th or 6th Subaru, and they all have lasted well
over 200 000 miles except for the one I totalled. Did I mention that
they hold up well to violent accidents?

I have a Subaru engine in my VW van, it's a great motor. Some of the early 2.5 engines had a head gasket problem, an improved gasket took care of that. FWIW I changed both head gaskets with the motor still in the bus in an afternoon.
I like those Subaru engines.
