I was 'not' whining. Nor was I telling others how to think or live--as you
just did. I don't believe you read the posts to which you were responding.
My only point was that a large gasoline tax wouls have a more deleterious
effect on ruralites than on those of us who live in metro areas. If you
don't believe rural people will feel 'penalized' over a large fuel tax (some
are talking $2 to $3 per gallon), then you are not, yet, awake enough to
think clearly :-).

If someone doesn't get what they want where they are, they should just move?
So, as a society we should give up the nanny state social programs in the
city, including mass transit, and people can just 'move' so that they can
walk to work or plant their own food in the forest? That is lunacy. My
'only' point was that rural people should not be penalized finacially to
subsidize metro residents. On that point, I still stand, and if you don't
agree, please feel free to continue to "whine" and "bitch"
