So Bev, the optician is the one who has those measurements, not the optometrist. Just call the optician as above (they are sometimes a
part of an optometrist or opthalmology office but the records you in
most states have to by law be kept by the optician, the outfit that
fits you for and makes up the glasses. Those measurements, short of
surgery on the scull or something, don't change, so just call the
last one you used.

I guess I knew that, but I thought an optometrist could/would also
measure. I probably confused it in my head because I go to a guy who is
both an optometrist and an optician. I'm glad you straightened me out
though. If anyone can measure, no wonder Dr. God was insulted...lol
And I will call the optician/optometrist who did my bifocals this time.
He's local and who I would normally pay anyway. I'm pretty sure that I
can get the info fairly easily from him.

And like I said before, you don't even have to have get those measurements from the optician if you don't want to fool with it;
Ron can do them. If you have the script in hand you have all you
really have to have from them, and it sounds like you do, just call
Zenni's 800 number and they will walk you through it on the phone;
they've successfully walked our MR clients through it for a couple of
years now; I'm sure they can handle folks like us too :-) I think I
told you Rae took two pairs of her clients' Zenni glasses to be
checked for accuracy and they were right on. I didn't have mine checked ($$) but they certainly seem fine.

I am 'looking forward' to getting new glasses. I am going to get two
pair, one with shades. At those rates, even I can afford it. The
scleritis makes me very sun sensitive, more than normal even. I'm as
white as white can be and even my eyes are sensitive-always have been.
I believe the Saami also used the slit eyewear like the Inuit. I
understand why. I've always been somewhat of a cave creature, a bat
avoiding the light of day. When I found out that I was from the land of
the midnight sun, I understood all of that.

The true significance of Sacajawea's involvement in the Lewis & Clark
expedition is that it was the first documented trip in history where men
asked a woman for directions and followed them, allowing them to arrive
at their destination.
