Well,

My cook stove search continues. I went to look at the Home Comfort
stove. It's a nice size stove. It had a hole in the bottom metal sheet
in the oven. It also had a small hole in the flue that comes up
through the warmer. I think those could be real problems.

The owners had bought it at an auction a few years ago. They never
used it. It's sitting in a walk-in cellar next to a pot belly stove
they use. I can't imagine two years and not cranking that sucker up.
Maybe they did and it smoked a lot through the hole in the oven and
flue?

Anyway, the owners did not want to come down in price, so I decided to
focus on this stove:

It's a Howes Queen "F", the owner has it in her home, uses it daily
and cooks soups and stew on it all the time. It also has that copper
water reservoir on it, that could be useful. The stove is far away,
but my truck will be within 50 miles of it next weekend.
