Lighten up James. I know you have a sense of humor, sometimes a very good
sense of humor. I was in a funny mood when I wrote that; knowing you would
read it later. I figured you would chuckle and make a snide remark. I have
read Chopra, long ago; and I've listened to him speak. To me, he is a snake
oil salesman; but; I've said, more than once; I question myself and my
beliefs about people and things regularly. I obviously meant no insult to
you.

Here is a very nice commentary on Deepak Chopra from the WSJ from last week ,
for your pleasure (and no $12 <g>):

........" Soon enough, there was Deepak Chopra, healer, New Age philosopher
and digestion guru, advocate of aromatherapy and regular enemas, holding
forth on CNN on the meaning of the attacks.

How the ebullient Dr. Chopra had come to be chosen as an authority on terror
remains something of a mystery, though the answer may have something to do
with his emergence in the recent presidential campaign as a thinker of
advanced political views. Also commending him, perhaps, is his well known
capacity to cut through all sorts of complexities to make matters simple. No
one can fail to grasp the wisdom of a man who has informed us that "If you
have happy thoughts, then you make happy molecules." ...................

Call me a rat b*stard, James, but at least , first, smile. You are serious
almost all of the time, which is appreciated. But, sometimes we all need to
smile ...............bobford
